Course Overview:

This seven-hour course focuses on developing and improving emergency management programs within Tribal Nations. It reviews the unique challenges faced by Tribal Nations in emergency preparedness and response and the opportunities to integrate Tribal knowledge and resiliency into these programs. Participants will gain practical insights into crafting effective Emergency Operations Plans, leveraging Incident Command Systems, fostering collaboration with internal and external partners, and synthesizing the key components for building resilient emergency management programs tailored to Tribal Nations' cultural contexts.
