Full program description
This awareness level course will provide the learner with an overview of business financial literacy and the need for pre-disaster planning. The participants will be provided with case studies to highlight the concepts provided in the course. They will also receive a high level overview of planning for financial aspects of disasters.
- Identify the kinds of financial disasters that can affect an business and identify the key elements of business financial literacy;
- Recognize key partners in the public and private sectors that provide information and guidance in emergency management and financial planning;
- Re-state the public (government) and non-governmental programs that can assist in financial disaster preparedness for businesses;
- Identify initial steps towards business financial preparedness for disasters.
